"Emotions Drive People, and People Drive Performance"
We Specialize in Career & Leadership Development
A recent study by global analytics and advice firm Gallup revealed nearly 8 in 10 Canadian employees are currently disengaged in the workplace, and that more than half (56%) of Canadian employees experience significant stress daily.
Our Why is to increase employee engagement by helping individuals and organizations recognize the importance of achieving both productivity and employee well-being.
"People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care"
- Theodore Roosevelt
The four quadrants shown here each reflect different peoples' social styles, and how all four are needed to ensure the organization's overall success.
These include:
The Driver (logical)
The Analytical (planner
The Expressive (Conceptual)
The Amiable (Interpersonal)
We help individuals and organizations to understand and relate to these four different social styles, so as to connect with those they work with whose social style may be different than their own.
Our assessment and training services act like oil between the gears by helping to reduce unnecessary friction caused by our differences.
Our introductory SOCIAL STYLES assessment helps team members understand their own strengths and weaknesses.
We then provide EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE training to help manage those strengths and weaknesses.
Because stepping outside of our comfort zone and adapting to the needs of others can be stressful, we also provide HARDINESS & RESILIENCE training to help manage that stress.
For organizations to maximize productivity and employee well-being they need both competent leaders and competent employees. Being competent means more than only having the intellectual intelligence (IQ), and practical intelligence (PQ) to do the job. It's also about practicing emotional intelligence (EQ) so as to contribute to a healthy workplace culture. We help job seekers, employees, and corporate leaders recognize their own strengths and weaknesses, and to develop the versatility needed to work collaboratively with those different than themselves. To accomplish this we encourage our clients to step out of their comfort zone and to "get comfortable with being uncomfortable" by developing the hardiness and resilience needed to survive and thrive in today's highly diverse workplace.
